Protein Dictionary

The protein dictionary is a set of nine volumes containing the protein data for over 20,000 food items. Food items are grouped into common portions, with the amount of protein in each portion. All protein values are in grams.

This protein dictionary was assembled by extracting all the protein data from the USDA Food and Nutrient Database for Dietary Studies, 3.0, a product of the Agricultural Research Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
